Since its formation, the Ineo Quartet has performed in Austria and intern., including at the Vienna Musikverein, the Arnold Schönberg Centre, and at festivals such as the Styrian Chamber Music Festival, Beethoven Spring, the St. Gallen Festival, the Landeskonzerte in Linz, Musikfreunde Feldkirch, the Sion Festival, the Festival d?Aix-en-Provence and Trame Sonore. In 2025, they were awarded a special prize as part of the F. Nicosia Award. The quartet was also selected for the MERITAcubed Project for 2025?2029 and is a member of ECMA and ProQuartet. For the years 2027?2028, the Ineo Quartet was selected to receive support from the NASOM funding programme. In the summer of 2024, the quartet recorded a CD featuring works by the composer Richard Dünser, including his Third String Quartet, which is dedicated to them. The INEO Quartet was originally founded in 2022 at the mdw in the class of Prof. Johannes Meissl. Since 2024, the quartet has been studying at the ESMRS in Madrid, initially under Prof. Günter Pichler and since 2026 under Professors Heime Müller and Vera Martínez Mehner.
